Trusted Coaches Public Service Announcement with The Minnesota Hustle Basketball Club.
Spring Lake Park, MN – Minnesota Hustle Basketball Club adopts the Trusted Coaches program. Minnesota Hustle Basketball Club joins over 28,000 users that are being trained and educated by the Trusted Coaches program. Minnesota Hustle Basketball is committed to the development of all boys and girls that have the desire to improve their skills and build their self-confidence on the basketball court and in everyday life.
Minnesota Hustle was established in 2009 to provide spring basketball opportunities for boys and girls of all skills, experiences, and ages. Since then, Minnesota Hustle has successfully had thousands of kids play in their spring club programs. Minnesota Hustle prides itself in hiring experienced coaches that are dedicated to the development of all players in the program.
When asked why they joined Trusted Coaches, Minnesota Hustle Owners stated “Player safety is one of our top priorities. The Trusted Coaches Program ensures that our coaches are equipped with the proper training and leadership skills to make a positive impact for all our Minnesota Hustle players. By requiring our coaches to complete the training, which includes concussion education, first aid training, and child safety training, our parents can be confident that Minnesota Hustle has invested in player safety for their children.”
Trusted Coaches was created by Minnesota Youth Athletic Services (MYAS) as a response to youth athletic associations need to train coaches and protect young athletes. The Trusted Coaches program includes first-aid training, concussion instruction, positive coach training through the Positive Coaching Alliance and a national criminal background check. Other programs are available via a la cart and can also be customized to meet the needs of an organization.

A key component to the Trusted Coaches program is managed with a state-of-the art website that includes a national registry for tracking. The website package allows parents to track their coaches and determine if they are certified Trusted Coaches. The website is also a great tool for associations to be able to track the progress of their coaches as they go through the coach education program, delivered entirely online.
